Like many coaches, Alex started helping out on a Saturday morning in year 1 and soon got such a buzz from seeing players enjoy and develop, decided to jump in an start to coach a team.

An Arsenal fan and season ticket at holder in the glory days of the late 90's, Alex grew up watching Tony Adams, Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry as idols. 

He likes to think that some of the Arsene Wenger style can be seen from his team 'The Royals'.
